Zuzanna Krysiak and Łukasz Kaniuk, our PhD students, participated in 30th Annual Conference of the European
Society for Biomaterials in Dresden, Germany. They presented their results during poster sessions.
The titles of their posters were:
Biocompatibility and cell culture study on electrospun PVB patches for skin treatment and
Enhanced cell integration with electrospun PHBV fibers with controlled surface properties.
During conference, they had a great opportunity to meet a lot of scientists in the field of biomaterials.

Agata Serafin, the 2nd year student, has won the 3rd prize in the section Physical Metallurgy and Surface Engineering
at 56th Conference of Student’s Scientific Circles at AGH University.
She presented her work on electrospinning of PHBV fibers at various humidity levels for medical applications.
Łukasz Kaniuk, our PhD student, supervised Agata's research work. Congratulations!

Urszula Stachewicz has presented results from the project
at the Frontiers in Polymer Science conference in Budapest.
Title of the presentation: "Controlled surface properties of electrospun polymer fibers for tissue engineering and skin care applications".
At the conference we had a chance to meet Sir Fraser Stoddart form Northwestern University, USA, awarded Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2016.
